The Executive summary is one I created for my business. Though my business start up was right at the 2008 recession which prevented it from being funded this summary is I believe is a good one.
The purpose of this proposal is analyze the Lindsay's Corporation's pilot program and analyze the current needs to see if this is cost efficient. Cost efficiency is imperative and all the necessary information is listed in detail, as well as explaining the importance.
The amount of housing available to mentally disabled adults needs to be drastically increased. Medicaid funded programs need to be cut. This proposal will show how to alleviate the urgent need for placement of people on the state’s emergency placement list. Lindsay’s Corporation is proposing a pilot apartment program to show the cost savings a non certified apartment program could transmit to an organization and the independence it could bring to the people it serves. Lindsay Corporation has had a great deal of expansion in recent history including: the development of a school, at home rehab, certified apartment programs, day habilitation sites and expansion of its residential program. We believe that with the creation of these programs a greater number of people could receive services and thus realize their true personal independence.
Our idea is to purchase an apartment building and relocate twelve of our higher functioning disabled adults to the non certified apartments and in turn create openings for other mentally disabled adults(LS) within our group homes. Phase One: Establish criteria for the apartment program Phase Two: Choose appropriate individuals Phase Three: Evaluate state applications Phase Four: Accept applicants and begin moves The low start up cost for a non certified apartment program of $250,000 ($170,000 purchase building, $40,000 modify building, $30,000 recruit, hire, train staff, and $10,000 furnishings) makes this a viable option that will quickly repay itself within a few short years. A non certified apartment program will be a positive addition to Lindsay Corporation . After the pilot is complete, other organizations can recreate the process for their companies with the same success, continuing to alleviate the strain of emergency housing for the disabled on the state while leading to more independent living for the disabled.
